Webinars are at fixed times and will not be recorded. Assigned practice sessions can be completed at any time of your choosing so long as it is before the next Webinar.
The challenge will be in a Webinar format. Each session will involve the introduction of concepts, practice techniques and a live practice and Q&A led by Simon.
You will receive the webinar registration link via email, and simply join using your computer at the scheduled times.
Each day, increasing periods of Breathwork practice will be assigned to be completed outside of class. You will need to complete the assigned practice before the next session.
The Webinars will not be recorded and you can only watch them if you join live.
All you need is to log into the Webinar wearing loose, comfortable clothing. You will also need to make time in your schedule for the Webinar and allocate time to practice outside of the Webinar. This Practice only lasts 7 days. After which, you will be equipped with everything you need and never need to take another course on Breathwork.
Each Webinar shares vital information in a step-by-step method so joining the Challenge midpoint will mean you miss critical, sequential concepts and instruction that lead up to it.
Simon will give you with all the tools, knowledge and techniques you need within the 7 days so that you'll never need to take another Breathwork class ever again! You'll have everything you need to practice independently and turn your breath into medicine.
The teas in the bundles on this page are all recommended and ideal for Breathwork Practice. Matcha, in particular, is very well suited due to high levels of l-theanine, a natural calming agent. Pique Breathwork Practice is based on the most ancient and most practiced form of meditation, Qigong. It’s actually been around for 5,000 years! It’s also the most common form of meditation in the Far East and the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine. To put it simply, it's the practice of using your breath to manipulate the flow of life force, qi (chi), or prana in your body to attain better health.
Try to catch up to the best of your ability. If you are unable to catch up or fall too far behind, it may be a good idea to drop out and join a future Practice instead.
Meet Your Practice Host
Hi! I'm Simon.
After experiencing health issues and having no luck with prescribed medicine, I sought remedies in the Far East, where I'm from, and learned to listen to my body again. I traveled the world learning and training with masters of qigong, tai-chi, and plant medicine to heal my broken body. A native Chinese speaker and scholar of the classics, I persuaded my teachers and delved into ancient texts like the I-Ching and Tao Te Ching to unlock their secrets. This later turned into a 10-year health quest that took me around the world to study with the most accomplished Eastern plant medicine and breathwork healers around the world - from the mountain ranges of Tibet to the heart of Indonesia and the Chinese diaspora in the Pacific Northwest! Majoring in Chinese history at Harvard, then studying literature and philosophy in Beijing, I accessed the knowledge in Eastern classics on medicine, meditation and Daoist philosophy thousands of years old.
Since starting qigong 10 years ago, I have never felt healthier, worked harder, or been happier. I’ve now synthesized everything I learned into this 7-day challenge combining medicinal plants and breathwork to give back to the community.
